Elizabeth Cuthbertson

Elizabeth's daughter Margaret remembered her as being a very sweet natured woman, quiet and uncomplaining, though never very strong. She had a sweet voice and her children were all musical, always singing about the house. They were later taught to play the piano, not so common then as since. Sadly only three daughters and her youngest son survived her: Mary, a sick child, died first, aged six, closely followed by John and James who both died in infancy.
